Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities within the Transport / Road Freight category.
- Identify and source new transport and logistics service providers.
- Analyze the European transport market and identify competitive solutions.
- Lead commercial and contract negotiations.
- Negotiate and execute agreements with suppliers.
- Develop and manage the carrier and supplier base.
- Optimize transport costs and fleet utilization.
- Work closely with warehouses, sites and other locations across Europe.
- Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
- Cooperate with international procurement and business teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transport procurement.
- Strong practical experience in road freight / FTL.
- Excellent knowledge of the European carrier and transport market.
- Proven experience in independently managing sourcing, negotiations and contracting.
- Ability to identify and onboard new suppliers and manage the process end-to-end.
- Knowledge of transport cost optimization and fleet utilization.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- High level of independence, ownership and initiative.
- Fluent English.
