RTR / PTP Team Leader – Gdańsk
We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated RTR / PTP Team Leader to join our international finance operations team in Gdańsk. This is a great opportunity for a finance professional who combines solid accounting knowledge with strong leadership skills and enjoys working in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
Depending on your experience and background, you will be responsible for leading either the Record-to-Report or Procure-to-Pay team. As a Team Leader, you will ensure high-quality service delivery, support team development, and drive continuous improvement across finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the team through coaching, feedback sessions, and performance management
- Coordinate day-to-day operations, including task allocation, workload management, and ensuring business continuity
- Monitor KPIs and service levels to ensure operational efficiency and high-quality standards
- Support the team in resolving complex accounting and process-related issues
- Identify operational risks and implement appropriate solutions
- Drive process improvement initiatives and support transition or knowledge transfer activities
- Participate in recruitment and onboarding processes for new team members
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and international business partners
- Ensure procedures and process documentation remain accurate and up to date
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or finance operations
- Previous experience in a Team Leader or supervisory role
- Practical knowledge of RTR or PTP processes, depending on the team
- Very good command of English (minimum B2 level)
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Proactive mindset, accountability, and strong organisational skills
- Experience in an SSC/BPO or international environment will be considered an advantage
