Senior Java Fullstack Engineer

Role Overview:
As a Software Engineer you will contribute to the development and support of mission-critical Foreign Exchange (FX) platforms serving institutional clients worldwide. You will work in a highly collaborative, global environment where technology plays a central role in delivering innovative financial market solutions.
Working within a modern microservices architecture, you will help deliver scalable, high-performance solutions while embracing DevOps and Agile practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications running on Linux platforms and integrated with SQL databases (Sybase, Oracle, and PostgreSQL)
- Contribute to the development of modern front-end applications using Angular, React, and JavaScript frameworks
- Build and enhance microservices-based solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of financial trading systems
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support
- Apply Agile development methodologies and contribute to iterative, continuous delivery practices
- Take ownership of services throughout their lifecycle, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues
- Automate testing, deployment, and operational processes to improve system reliability and delivery efficiency
- Ensure applications comply with internal cybersecurity standards and promptly remediate identified vulnerabilities
- Support production systems as part of a shared operational responsibility model, including participation in daytime monitoring and occasional out-of-hours incident resolution
Requirements:
- 5+ years hands-on experience as a Java fullstack engineer, well know the concept of micro-services and familiar with Spring/Boot
- Proficiency with server side languages such as Java (nodeJs, Ruby, Golang would be a plus)
- Experience in UI frameworks/technologies will be highly desirable (ie. JavaScript frameworks)
- Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Degree in engineering, information systems or related
- Prior experience in financial services/investment banking will be highly valuable
- A problem-solving attitude
