About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a long-term transformation programme within a large international enterprise environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for translating business and technology requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable solution architectures. You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, infrastructure specialists, and delivery managers to ensure that solutions are aligned with architectural standards and can be successfully implemented at scale.
A significant part of your work will involve creating and maintaining Solution Design Documents (SDDs) and supporting large-scale migration initiatives across complex enterprise platforms.
Your Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solution architectures for complex business initiatives
- Create and maintain high-quality Solution Design Documents (SDDs)
- Support enterprise migration programmes and platform transformation initiatives
- Ensure alignment with architectural standards, governance processes, and security requirements
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, product, and delivery teams
- Evaluate solution options and provide architectural recommendations
- Define architecture patterns, reference designs, and best practices
- Support delivery teams during implementation and provide architectural guidance
- Balance business needs, technical requirements, and long-term maintainability
Requirements
Must Have
- Several years of experience in a Senior Solution Architect, Infrastructure Architect, or similar role
- Strong experience designing solutions across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Solid understanding of infrastructure platforms, networking, identity management, security, and observability
- Experience working with architectural standards, governance frameworks, and reference architectures
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and modern DevOps practices
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration abilities
- Fluent English
Nice to Have
- Experience with large-scale migration programmes
- Background in transport, logistics, or other complex global organizations
- Experience working in highly regulated environments
- Familiarity with enterprise cloud adoption and transformation initiatives
