Finance Transformation Manager

Finance Transformation Manager

About the Project: For our client, a global business services center (FMCG sector), we are looking for an experienced Transition Manager. You will join the Finance Transformation team to take full, end-to-end responsibility for relocating, standardizing, and optimizing financial processes from global divisions / segments to the centralized GBS structures. This role is designed for an expert who can manage the scaling of operations  and smoothly guide the organization from one operating model to the target global operating model.
Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Transition Management: Planning, structuring, leading, and executing finance transition projects (from the design and development stage to implementation and completion).
  • Due Diligence & Feasibility: Operating the "Front Door" process, performing due diligence to confirm transition feasibility, and preparing robust business cases.
  • Change Management: Applying a structured change management methodology, creating risk mitigation strategies, readiness assessments, training plans, and sponsor roadmaps.
  • Budget & Schedule Management: Contributing to the transition team budget, monitoring costs, and managing and reporting progress, risks, and KPIs (time, budget) to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Process Optimization: Identifying opportunities for improvement in the relocated work, such as through process re-engineering, the introduction of enabling technology, or economies of scale.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborating closely with division representatives (including CFOs and Controllers), IT, Corporate Affairs, HR (OD specialists), and the strategic external partner (Genpact).
Our Requirements:
  • Expert-Level Experience: 10–20 years of professional experience, including a solid foundation and proven track record in an SSC/BPO environment.
  • Broad Financial Acumen: You understand financial processes (including reconciliation) but think strategically—looking beyond standard "debit and credit" accounting to see the entire operational big picture.
  • Advanced Project Management: Experience in leading multi-dimensional transition projects with a strong focus on Change Management.
  • Technology / IT Understanding: A solid grasp of how IT solutions impact business processes and the ability to effectively define technological requirements for your transition projects.
  • Leadership & Influence: Strong leadership skills aligned with core corporate values. You can drive objective delivery, hold project teams accountable, and navigate matrix structures collaboratively.
  • Fluent English: Essential for managing global projects and interacting daily with international stakeholders.
What We Offer:
  • The opportunity to lead business-critical transformation projects for one of the most recognizable global brands.
  • Collaboration with top-tier experts in a dynamic, international SSC work environment.
  • High autonomy and a real impact on shaping the new target operating model.
  • A flexible, hybrid working model based in our Warsaw office.
  • A 12-month contract.
  • Comprehensive benefits package: Private medical care (Luxmed), Multisport card, Life insurance.
