About the Role
Antal is supporting the recruitment process for an international organization seeking a Production Support Specialist to join a team responsible for maintaining critical business applications and services.
This position combines incident management, production support, technical troubleshooting, and collaboration with software engineering teams. You will play a key role in ensuring platform stability, resolving production issues, and continuously improving operational processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor production systems and respond to operational alerts.
- Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis and coordinating resolutions.
- Manage incidents, problems, and change activities using established ITSM processes.
- Work closely with Development, DevOps, and SRE teams to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.
- Support releases, maintenance activities, and production deployments.
- Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify operational risks and implement preventative measures.
- Participate in on-call or out-of-hours support activities when required.
Required
- Experience in Production Support, Application Support, IT Operations, DevOps, SRE or a similar technical role.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to investigate incidents and identify root causes.
- Programming or scripting skills (e.g. Java, Python, PowerShell, Bash or similar).
- Understanding of production support processes, incident management and operational best practices.
- Ability to work effectively with development and infrastructure teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Risk-aware mindset and attention to service reliability.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ServiceNow, incident, problem and change management processes.
- SQL and database knowledge.
- Experience working with Linux environments.
- Exposure to AWS and/or Azure platforms.
- Familiarity with Java applications.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Knowledge of algorithm complexity and performance optimization concepts.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications.
