Are you ready to play a key role in building a new Global Business Services organization from the ground up?
We are looking for an experienced OTC Manager to join a newly established GBS hub in Wrocław. This is a unique opportunity to combine operational leadership with the chance to shape processes, build a high-performing team, and contribute to the development of a growing finance function supporting the EMEA region.
Your responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the OTC team supporting EMEA operations.
- Drive day-to-day service delivery, ensuring high-quality execution of Order-to-Cash processes and achievement of agreed KPIs and SLAs.
- Manage workload distribution, capacity planning, business continuity, and team development activities.
- Act as the first escalation point for operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to OTC operations.
- Oversee customer account reconciliations, monitor outstanding balances, and ensure effective follow-up on aged receivables.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing and allocation of incoming payments.
- Prepare operational reports and performance analyses, identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process standardization, and automation projects.
- Partner closely with Finance, IT, Process Owners, and business stakeholders to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Support transitions, process migrations, and stabilization activities as part of the GBS growth journey.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the region.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, company policies, IFRS requirements, and local regulations.
- Keep process documentation and Standard Operating Procedures up to date.
What we're looking for
- At least 5 years of experience within Finance & Accounting, Shared Services, BPO, or GBS environments.
- Proven expertise in Order-to-Cash operations and service delivery management.
- Previous experience leading teams, including coaching, performance management, and talent development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions.
- Fluency in German and good knowledge of English.
- Experience in process optimization, transformation projects, or operational excellence initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP platform would be an advantage.
- Additional language skills, particularly French, are welcomed.
