Junior / Middle Accountant with French -  Private Capital 

For our client – one of the world’s leading banks – we are looking for a fluent French speaker who is eager to develop their career in the finance and banking sector.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership verification for funds of funds, private equity and real estate funds including their SPVs and all underlying structures based on the provided documentation.
  • Record keeping of investment transactions such as capital calls and distributions for funds of funds, equity purchase, debt financing and real estate investments for PERE funds.
  • Reviewing investment documentation such as Limited Partnership Agreements. Subscription agreements, shareholder/land registers, Capital Account Statements in order to verify ownership of the assets invested.
  • Identifying if all documentation received and contact the client if additional documents needed.
  • According to directives (AIFMD) and regulations performing cash monitoring and other depositary controls over funds of funds and PERE funds.
  • Preparation of portfolio reports based on own record keeping, liaison with counterparties and locations.
  • Investigating discrepancies and ensuring strong internal controls
  • Maintaining communication and relations with internal and external clients and other key stakeholders
  • Active participation in the evolution of the department
  • Supporting the integration of new operational activities
  • Being main point of contact for clients
  • Contributing to company’s goals

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, finance or securities services, or property sector
  • Fluent working knowledge of French and English is essential
  • Good Knowledge of Private Equity and Real Estate fund specificities will be considered as an advantage
