Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced cybersecurity professional specializing in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) with a strong focus on endpoint security. The role is part of a global cybersecurity technology function responsible for protecting sensitive data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting secure business operations.

You will act as a subject matter expert in DLP policies, tooling, and governance, contributing to the implementation and continuous improvement of data protection controls across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a DLP subject matter expert, particularly in endpoint protection
  • Support implementation and optimization of DLP tools and controls
  • Manage and maintain DLP policies, including handling endpoint-related exceptions
  • Ensure compliance with global data security standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT, and business stakeholders across regions
  • Monitor service performance and report on key metrics and improvements
  • Support testing activities (planning, scripting, execution, defect management)
  • Contribute to risk reduction by implementing effective data protection solutions
  • Participate in audits and ensure timely remediation of findings
  • Maintain high-quality documentation and follow structured task management practices

Required Experience & Skills

  • Hands-on experience with DLP tools (ideally at least two: Symantec DLP, Trellix, Proofpoint)
  • Strong knowledge of Data in Motion and Data in Use security
  • Experience with endpoint agents and system administration (on-prem and cloud)
  • Proven track record in managing DLP policies and exceptions
  • Minimum ~5 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in data protection
  • Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., financial services)
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, and risk management
  • Experience with testing processes and defect management
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in distributed environments

  • Experience with test automation
  • Exposure to audits and regulatory interactions
  • Broader knowledge of data anonymization and privacy-enhancing technologies
