Project Manager - Network Security
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex cybersecurity and technology initiatives.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing project requirements and priorities, coordinating multiple workstreams, and ensuring successful delivery from planning through implementation. You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, translating business and regulatory requirements into clear project plans and technology-driven solutions.
The role requires strong project management skills, confidence in working with senior stakeholders, and a good understanding of technology and cybersecurity environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project requirements, priorities and backlogs, ensuring they are clearly defined and aligned with business objectives.
- Plan, structure and manage projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and risks, and take corrective action when required.
- Establish and maintain effective project governance and reporting.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams and manage dependencies and interfaces between them.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, resources and delivery against expected outcomes.
- Coordinate the allocation of resources and required skills across project activities.
- Manage contributions from external vendors and third parties.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.
- Ensure clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify gaps, risks and potential delivery issues and proactively implement appropriate solutions.
- Support the transition of delivered solutions into business-as-usual operations.
- Provide regular project status updates, highlighting progress, risks, issues, dependencies and key decisions.
- Ensure that project delivery remains aligned with relevant technology, security and organisational standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Several years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably within cybersecurity, technology or financial services.
- Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple workstreams and dependencies.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, monitoring and delivery techniques.
- Experience managing project requirements, priorities and backlogs.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to understand technology-related requirements and translate them into clear project plans and deliverables.
- Experience with project governance, risk and issue management.
- Good understanding of budgeting, resource planning and cost management.
- Experience working with external vendors or third-party providers.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership and proactively identify potential issues.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
