About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced DLP Engineer to join a global Cyber Security team responsible for protecting sensitive business information across enterprise environments.
In this role, you will deploy, administer, and support enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Data Discovery solutions, helping identify, classify, and protect structured and unstructured data. You will work closely with global security teams to ensure the stability, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of data protection services in a highly regulated environment.

Your Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Data Discovery solutions.
- Perform structured and unstructured data discovery scans to identify sensitive information.
- Administer and support Data Protection platforms in production environments.
- Monitor platform health, perform maintenance activities, and ensure service availability.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and provide operational support.
- Work closely with Service Owners and global Cyber Security teams to maintain secure and reliable services.
- Support continuous improvements of Data Protection capabilities and operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or IT Infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Symantec/Broadcom Data Loss Prevention (DLP), including Data Discovery, Veritas Data Insight, or similar enterprise Data Protection solutions.
- Experience deploying, configuring, and administering security platforms.
- Good understanding of:
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Data Discovery
- Data Classification
- Data Protection
- Information Security principles
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, CIS Controls, and GDPR.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.
- Experience in the financial sector is an advantage.
Nice to Have
- Experience with additional Information Protection or Data Security technologies.
- Experience supporting enterprise security infrastructure.
- Knowledge of security operations within highly regulated environments.
