The role

We’re looking for an Indirect Procurement Specialist – CAPEX & MRO to support procurement activities related to capital expenditure (CAPEX), maintenance, repair and operations (MRO).

You’ll be responsible for analysing spend, identifying sourcing opportunities, supporting sourcing events, negotiating commercial terms and monitoring savings. You’ll also help improve contract management, procurement reporting and category planning.

The assignment will focus on reviewing the current supplier and contract landscape, delivering sourcing initiatives and preparing recommendations for future procurement activities.

Responsibilities

Sourcing and procurement

  • Support CAPEX sourcing activities, including preparing RFx documentation, comparing suppliers, evaluating bids and preparing award recommendations.

  • Lead assigned MRO sourcing events, including benchmarking, supplier evaluation and commercial negotiations.

  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, warranty terms and service levels (SLAs).

  • Support sourcing plans and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.

Supplier and contract management

  • Review supplier and contract portfolios to identify gaps, renewal dates and sourcing opportunities.

  • Support contract preparation, renewals and compliance tracking.

  • Follow internal procurement procedures, approval workflows and Delegation of Authority (DoA) requirements.

  • Monitor supplier performance and support contract implementation.

  • Maintain contract trackers and monitor ongoing sourcing projects.

Spend analysis and reporting

  • Analyse procurement spend and identify cost-saving and cost-avoidance opportunities.

  • Improve spend visibility and support category planning.

  • Track savings, payment terms and sourcing project progress.

  • Maintain procurement dashboards and prepare reports on spend, savings and supplier performance.

  • Use procurement data to support decision-making and future sourcing activities.

Stakeholder collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Facilities, Finance, Quality, Project Management and Legal teams.

  • Support procurement activities in line with internal policies and applicable quality requirements.

  • Contribute to the improvement of procurement processes, documentation and reporting tools.

  • Prepare a structured handover covering sourcing projects, contracts, ongoing negotiations, risks and savings opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Supply Chain or a similar role.

  • Experience with CAPEX, manufacturing equipment, tooling or MRO procurement would be an advantage.

  • Experience in sourcing activities, including RFx processes, supplier evaluation and commercial negotiations.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage several activities at the same time.

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with international and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical or industrial environment would be an advantage.

  • Fluent English is required.

We offer

  • A fixed-term project lasting 6–12 months, starting in December 2026.
