Financial Analyst | Global Finance
About the role
For our international client, we are looking for a Financial Analyst to join a Global Finance team supporting financial performance management across multiple business functions and regions.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in Financial Analysis, Controlling, FP&A, Audit, or Management Accounting who are looking to further develop their analytical and business partnering skills within a global environment.
In this role, you will work closely with finance teams and stakeholders across various countries, supporting reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
Key responsibilities
- Support monthly financial closing activities and perform controls on financial and cost center data.
- Monitor data quality and ensure compliance with internal finance policies and reporting standards.
- Analyze cost and headcount trends across business functions.
- Assist in preparing monthly management reports and performance analysis.
- Support budget and forecast cycles.
- Collaborate with local and regional finance teams to understand and explain financial performance.
- Participate in business review meetings and provide insights on financial results.
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and reports for management.
- Contribute to process improvements and reporting enhancements.
- Support the maintenance and development of reporting and data visualization solutions.
What we're looking for
We are open to candidates with approximately 3-6 years of experience gained in:
- Financial Analysis
- Controlling
- FP&A
- Management Accounting
- Audit (including Big 4 environments)
- Financial Reporting
You may be a Financial Analyst, Junior Controller, FP&A Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or an Audit Senior looking for your next career step within an international organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- 3-6 years of professional experience in finance-related roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Tagetik or similar.
- Exposure to an international corporate environment.
- Interest in financial services, investments or asset management.
