Financial Controller (Global Finance)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and verify the accuracy of monthly expense reports by cost centers, ensuring adherence to financial policies and standards.
  • Analyze and report on financial performance across various divisions/functions, including Sales, Investment, HR, and Finance.
  • Prepare and present reports comparing actual performance to budgets, identifying key trends and variances.
  • Reconcile management accounting data with HR and consolidated financial results, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process by collaborating with divisional and functional teams.
  • Act as a point of contact for divisional heads and business managers, providing insights and support on financial matters.
  • Participate in updating the global cost center structure in partnership with HR and finance teams.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes and tools, including maintaining and optimizing systems such as Tableau and Tagetik.
  • Assist in preparing data for industry benchmarking studies.
  • Handle ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

 

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in finance, accounting, management control, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in audit, financial controlling, or management accounting.
  • Prior experience in the asset management or financial services sector is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools such as Tableau and Tagetik is preferred.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial planning processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Adaptable and open to change in a dynamic work environment.
