As part of the continued development of its Shared Services organization, the company is looking for an experienced finance leader to oversee key Finance Operations and lead large-scale teams in Kraków.

 

Head of Finance Operations

 

As the Head of Finance Operations, you’ll take senior leadership responsibility for core finance operations within an international Shared Services environment. You’ll oversee finance operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, strong governance and continuous improvement.

You’ll lead a team, working closely with senior stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop Finance Operations across O2C/Accounts Receivable, P2P/Accounts Payable and R2R/Financial Accounting & Reporting.
  • Own overall service delivery, operational performance, quality and process discipline across the finance organization.
  • Establish and maintain effective governance, controls, KPIs and performance management frameworks.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for operational issues and ensure timely and effective resolution of complex matters.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance and the wider organization, ensuring alignment between business needs and service delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardization and transformation across Finance Operations.
  • Support and lead organizational and process transformation initiatives, including changes related to systems, processes and operating models.
  • Ensure teams operate in line with internal policies, controls, compliance requirements and agreed service standards.
  • Develop a strong leadership culture focused on accountability, collaboration, customer focus and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability and quality across the Shared Services organization.
  • Partner with global Finance leadership and other functions to support strategic priorities and the continued development of the SSC.

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ experience in Finance, preferably gained in an international organization or Shared Services environment.
  • Proven experience in leading large Finance Operations teams, including managing managers and developing leadership structures.
  • Strong understanding of core finance processes, particularly AP, AR, GL/R2R and Financial Reporting.
  • Previous experience in a Senior Finance Leadership / Head of Finance / Finance Operations / SSC leadership role.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior and international stakeholders.
  • Experience managing service delivery, operational KPIs, governance and escalations.
  • Proven track record of leading process improvement, standardization and transformation initiatives.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and manage managers in a complex organization.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a global environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and business-oriented approach.
  • Fluent English.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
