Senior Valuation Controller (Project Role)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Valuation Controller to join an international Product Control and Valuation team supporting Global Markets activities. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in a strategic business transition project while working closely with valuation, market risk, front office and technology teams.
What will you do?
- Oversee valuation control activities for financial instruments across Global Markets portfolios.
- Support Independent Price Verification (IPV), Fair Value Adjustments (FVA), Prudent Valuation Adjustments (PVA) and Fair Value Levelling (FVL) processes.
- Review valuation methodologies and identify opportunities to strengthen controls and improve efficiency.
- Analyze valuation model limitations and contribute to recommendations for enhancements.
- Support preparation of management information and reporting for governance committees.
- Partner with Product Control, Market Risk, Front Office, Quantitative Analytics, Operations and IT teams.
- Contribute to business transition and migration activities, ensuring continuity and control throughout the process.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and support automation and standardization efforts.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in Valuation Control, Product Control, Market Risk, Treasury or a related area within financial services.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments and valuation principles.
- Experience working with credit products, treasury products or other Global Markets instruments is highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of market risk concepts and valuation frameworks.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of VBA, SQL or Risk IT environments will be considered a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
