For our client, an international manufacturing company located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, we are looking for an experienced professional for the position of Senior Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all plant operations, ensuring the achievement of production, quality, safety, and cost targets.
- Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team.
- Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimize production processes, equipment utilization, workforce planning, and plant capacity.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality, health & safety, and environmental compliance.
- Monitor operational performance, budgets, KPIs, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Support new product implementation and industrialization projects.
- Collaborate closely with senior management to implement business strategies and ensure operational continuity.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a senior operations/production management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing large production teams (300+ FTE).
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience in production planning, quality management, budgeting, and operational excellence.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Very good command of English.
- Experience in the chemical industry or bulk materials manufacturing will be considered a strong advantage.
