Senior Operations Manager

For our client, an international manufacturing company located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, we are looking for an experienced professional for the position of Senior Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all plant operations, ensuring the achievement of production, quality, safety, and cost targets.
  • Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team.
  • Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Optimize production processes, equipment utilization, workforce planning, and plant capacity.
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality, health & safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Monitor operational performance, budgets, KPIs, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Support new product implementation and industrialization projects.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to implement business strategies and ensure operational continuity.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a senior operations/production management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing large production teams (300+ FTE).
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in production planning, quality management, budgeting, and operational excellence.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Very good command of English.
  • Experience in the chemical industry or bulk materials manufacturing will be considered a strong advantage.
