About the role:
- Provide expertise in the SAP S/4 HANA Finance and Costing module (SAP FICO, COPA, Asset), including its integration with other modules and related portfolios.
- Lead and drive implementation, offering both technical and business guidance as required to fulfill the vision and objectives of the strategic roadmap.
- Define, design, build, and manage the implementation and rollout of ERP functional solutions in SAP S/4 HANA for SAP FICO.
- Participate in the development of interfaces between SAP and other systems.
- Act as the focal point for deployment of assigned data objects in migration projects.
- Develop new features based on business needs and produce related documentation, such as configuration guides and functional specifications, while supporting test planning and execution.
- Ensure that solutions align with the company's F2P requirements and the overall technical operations processes, including systems, interfaces, and platforms.
- Interact with Business Data Owners, Functional Process Experts, ETL teams, and Legacy teams.
- Analyze defects and issues from readiness reports, managing data deviations and collaborating with relevant stakeholders until resolution.
- Work in tandem with program and business teams for continual IT and business alignment.
- Oversee and mentor business analysts.
- Lead complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions, ensuring any deviations from standard SAP functionality are well justified
- Collaborate with various functional and IT teams, including Business Analysts, Master Data, Process SMEs, and users.
- Manage the inventory of workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (WRICEFs) for the F2P area.
- Coordinate build and deployment work packages, ensuring collaboration with build partners.
- Work closely with regional deployment leads for effective project governance and timely progress reporting according to the program plan and milestones.
- Facilitate a smooth transition of solutions and systems to support and operations teams.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP FICO + S/4 HANA project implementation.
- Excellent command of the English language and experience in a multinational environment.
- Proficient in tools, principles, concepts, and techniques related to requirements, data, usability, and process analysis.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Finance & Accounting, or equivalent experience.
- Deep knowledge of SAP Project Management (External PM certification is a plus) and a strong understanding of business processes, cross-functional integration, and data dependencies.
- Familiarity with SolMan ALM methodologies.
- Strong influencing skills up to the director level in business and informatics groups.
- Ability to conceptualize complex problems and simplify them for easy understanding.
- Strong communication skills and business partnering capabilities.
- Skilled in managing ambiguity and using rapid prototyping to refine requirements.
- Agile work methodology, often on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as needed for projects and services.
- Experience in the Pharmaceuticals industry is highly advantageous.
- Expertise in delivering solution feedback and proposals in the area of specialty.
- Strong experience in CAPEX, including integration with Procurement and Project Systems for Assets under Construction, and Fixed Assets, including integration with Financial Accounting and Controlling.
- Knowledge of Fixed Assets/Capex business processes, primarily around Vehicles, Machinery, Equipment, Buildings, Capital Budgeting processes, and integration to S/4 HANA.
- Understanding of Depreciation/Amortisation scenarios for Fixed and Intangible assets and related accounting treatments for Liabilities.
- Experience in A/P (Invoice to Pay) processes, ideally integrated with cloud procurement solutions like GEP.
- Integration experience with systems for Business Planning and Reporting, such as SAP Analytics Cloud.
