Technical Sales Support Specialist with German
In this role, you’ll combine customer service, technical support and sales support. You’ll help customers find the right products and solutions and support them throughout the quotation and order process.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to customers’ technical questions and providing product support.
- Troubleshooting standard and moderately complex technical issues.
- Helping customers with product selection and configuration.
- Working with product specifications, technical documentation and engineering drawings.
- Supporting the quotation process for modified or customized products.
- Coordinating the quote-to-order process for modified products.
- Supporting customer claims and service-related requests.
- Keeping customer and case information up to date in CRM systems.
- Working closely with Sales, Customer Care, Engineering, Product Management, Quality and Operations.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and customer service.
Qualifications:
- Experience in technical customer support, customer service, inside sales or sales support.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, electrical, mechanical or technical products environment will be an advantage.
- Ability to understand technical documentation, product specifications and engineering drawings.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with CRM, ERP or CPQ/configuration systems will be a plus.
- Good organization skills and the ability to manage several tasks at the same time.
- Fluent German and English.
- A technical or business-related degree is welcome, but equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
