Conversational AI / Voice AI Engineer (Parloa

We are looking for a Conversational AI / Voice AI Engineer to join an international project focused on building and scaling enterprise-grade voice and conversational AI solutions. This role is ideal for engineers with hands-on experience in voicebots, contact center automation, and modern GenAI technologies.

Parloa experience is a strong priority for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize Voice AI and Conversational AI solutions.
• Develop conversational flows using Parloa / Parloa AMP.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems through APIs and backend services.
• Support voice use cases such as authentication, call routing, self-service, and agent handover.
• Configure and optimize NLU/NLP, dialogue management, and agent behavior.
• Leverage LLMs, GenAI, RAG, and agentic AI workflows within conversational solutions.
• Monitor, test, and troubleshoot AI agents in production environments.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders throughout implementation and rollout.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Conversational AI, Voice AI, chatbots, or voicebots.
• Commercial experience with Parloa / Parloa AMP is highly preferred.
• Alternatively, solid experience with platforms such as Cognigy, Dialogflow, IBM Watson Assistant, or Rasa.
• Good understanding of NLU, NLP, dialogue management, and GenAI/LLM concepts.
• Experience working in contact center, telephony, or voice automation environments.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with Python and/or JavaScript (Node.js).
• Ability to work independently in an international environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience delivering AI solutions in regulated industries.
• Experience with multilingual conversational platforms.
• German and/or Spanish language skills.
