Electrical Production Support Engineer
On behalf of our client, a global technology company in the automotive industry, we are looking for an Electrical Production Support Engineer to support manufacturing plants worldwide in resolving electrical and electronic production issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate electrical and electronic failures and identify root causes.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and supplier teams to resolve technical issues.
- Analyze power electronics, electrical circuits and component performance.
- Coordinate Design of Experiments (DoE) and apply problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5-Why and Fishbone.
- Assess component changes and their impact on product performance and reliability.
- Prepare technical reports and support continuous improvement initiatives across global manufacturing sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related technical field.
- 2–7 years of experience in electrical engineering, power electronics, manufacturing support or a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of electrical circuits, power electronics and electronic components.
- Experience in electrical testing, validation, failure analysis or production support.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques.
- Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in automotive electronics or power electronics.
- Background in hardware design, validation, test engineering or manufacturing engineering.
- Knowledge of automotive quality processes, including APQP and PPAP.
