The role
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial leader to establish and manage a corporate banking branch in France. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a business from an early stage while operating within a well-structured international organization.
You will be responsible for driving business growth, managing a local team, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities

Build, lead and develop the local corporate banking team

Execute the commercial strategy and deliver on agreed business targets

Identify and acquire new corporate clients while expanding existing relationships

Oversee credit processes and participate in lending decisions within delegated authority

Manage and grow a high-quality loan portfolio

Monitor business performance and implement improvements to drive efficiency and results

Ensure high standards of client service and relationship management

Control operational costs and ensure effective branch performance

Ensure compliance with French regulations, internal policies, and audit standards

Represent the branch in interactions with regulators and external institutions

Support implementation of risk management and compliance frameworks, including AML

Strengthen the organization’s market presence and brand visibility in France
Requirements

Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate banking

At least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally within international or multi-market structures

Strong knowledge of corporate banking products, credit processes, and regulatory environment

Proven ability to deliver commercial results and drive business growth

Solid leadership and team management experience

Strong analytical skills, particularly in credit risk assessment

Fluency in French and English (required)

High level of autonomy, strong communication and organizational skills

Willingness to travel frequently
