About the project
Join a newly established cross-functional team responsible for transforming complex business processes through Artificial Intelligence and cloud technologies.
You will work on the development of an AI-powered platform supporting underwriting operations, building intelligent agents, modern web applications, and integrations with key enterprise systems. This is a unique opportunity to shape innovative AI products from the ground up while working with cutting-edge technologies including LLMs, agentic workflows, and Microsoft Azure services.
Your responsibilities
- Design and develop modern full-stack applications using React/Next.js and Python/FastAPI
- Build and orchestrate AI agents using LangGraph, LangChain, and LLM-based architectures
- Develop document processing and data extraction solutions leveraging OCR and AI technologies
- Integrate applications with enterprise systems, including policy administration platforms, CRM systems, document repositories, and email services
- Deploy and maintain solutions in Microsoft Azure using containers and CI/CD pipelines
- Translate business and underwriting requirements into AI-driven solutions
- Drive architecture decisions and mentor team members on best engineering practices
- Ensure compliance with AI Governance and regulatory requirements
Must have
- 3+ years of experience in Data Science, AI, or Machine Learning, including at least one year of production deployments
- Strong experience with Python and FastAPI
- Strong experience with React and Next.js
- Hands-on experience with Azure services, including:
- Azure AI Foundry
- Azure Document Intelligence
- Azure Blob Storage
- Practical experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar orchestration frameworks
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering and context engineering
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Strong knowledge of Python ecosystem (Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch and/or TensorFlow)
- Solid SQL skills
- Experience with MLOps tools and practices (Azure ML, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
- Knowledge of NLP, OCR, and processing unstructured data
- Understanding of AI Governance and AI Act requirements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure AI Search
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform
- Azure certifications (DP-100, AI-102, AI-900)
- Experience in the insurance industry
- Knowledge of enterprise integration platforms and tools such as Kafka or ESB
