Senior/GL Accountant

For our client we are looking for candidates for the position of:

 


Senior / General Ledger Accountant

Your responsibilities

  • Taking part in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities in line with reporting deadlines
  • Preparing and posting journal entries in the General Ledger
  • Performing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances when needed
  • Supporting accounting processes related to fixed assets, accruals and intercompany transactions
  • Preparing financial reports and providing analysis for internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and control procedures
  • Supporting internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation
  • Providing backup support for other Record-to-Report activities within the team

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in RTR / General Ledger accounting
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Hands-on experience with month-end closing and account reconciliations
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Previous involvement in process transitions or migrations will be considered an advantage
  • Advanced Excel skills are welcome
  • Fluent English (minimum B2 level)
