For our client we are looking for candidates for the position of:
Senior / General Ledger Accountant
Your responsibilities
- Taking part in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities in line with reporting deadlines
- Preparing and posting journal entries in the General Ledger
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances when needed
- Supporting accounting processes related to fixed assets, accruals and intercompany transactions
- Preparing financial reports and providing analysis for internal stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and control procedures
- Supporting internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation
- Providing backup support for other Record-to-Report activities within the team
Our requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in RTR / General Ledger accounting
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with month-end closing and account reconciliations
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Previous involvement in process transitions or migrations will be considered an advantage
- Advanced Excel skills are welcome
- Fluent English (minimum B2 level)
