For our Client we are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Database Engineer (DBA).

Key Responsibilities:
- The job holder will be responsible for technical delivery of projects by providing technical / process guidance to project teams, member of Database Support team member and be a subject matter expert for the Oracle infrastructure team.
- Providing consulting on database Performance Monitoring, Tuning, Optimization.
- Maintain High Availability setup, replication setups and perform Capacity Planning and DR Planning
- Meet the delivery standards as per the agreement that includes quality of deliverables, documentation.
- Stabilize the Oracle environments and demonstrate ownership, commitment, and sense of urgency.
- Pro-actively review information in conjunction with service level agreements to identify any capacity issues and specify any required changes. Work with application teams to agree and implement short- and medium-term modifications to demand.
- Asses, analyze, develop, document, and implement changes based on requests for change. Understanding of functional requirements and translation of business requirements into technical specifications
- Provide troubleshooting support in incident and perform root cause analysis to prevent problems happening. Appropriate measures are taken to improve and sustain high quality and prevent recurrence.

Requirements:
- 8-10 years’ experience in Oracle Database administration
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Hands on experience on Oracle 12c and 19c
- Hands on experience on Oracle Golden Gate Microservices and Delphix
- Design, implement, and manage Oracle Golden Gate replication solutions to meet business requirements
- Monitor and maintain Golden Gate replication processes to ensure data integrity and availability
- Perform troubleshooting and resolve replication issues in a timely manner
- In-depth knowledge in Oracle technologies such as Real Application Cluster, Dataguard and Grid Control
- Expertise in both RAC and non-RAC database build, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Good understanding of Configuration and Management of Oracle Enterprise manager (OMS)
- Experience in database refreshes and Database Patching.
- Solid experience in performance monitoring / tuning at instance and SQL level
- Performance Tuning Expert. Analysis of AWR, ADDM, ASH reports
- Experience of working with agile practices and toolsets including JIRA and Confluence
- Expertise in backup and recovery scenarios
- Hands on experience as PostgreSQL and Mongo DB will be preferred
- Hands on build DB, configuration, upgrade, Migration and patching
- Strong Oracle and Linux security architecture
- Good understanding and working knowledge of Dev-Ops tools like Jenkins, Git, Ansible etc.
- Strong understanding of DR Test, ITSRP, and OAT process
- Good working knowledge of Unix platforms Strong on Backup/Recovery RMAN and RAC
- Extensive experience in database related Automation
- Scripting skills in Shell/Python
- Ability to manage major incidents and to coordinate with Incident Management Function & Global Command Centre wherever appropriate
- Experience with other ITID technologies such as Unix, Middleware (WebSphere, Apache HTTP Server & Tomcat, IIS) and Databases (MS SQL, Sybase & DB2)
