AP / AR / GL Accountant with German or French

About the role:
On behalf of our client, an international company with a well-established presence in Poland, we are currently looking for an experienced AP / AR / GL Accountant with German or French. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic finance team within a growing organization and further develop your accounting career in an international environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing and posting invoices (Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable)
- Managing vendor and customer accounts, including reconciliations
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities (GL)
- Preparing and reviewing journal entries and financial reports
- Monitoring payments, resolving discrepancies, and handling queries
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Supporting audits and continuous process improvements
Requirements:
- Experience in AP, AR, or GL accounting (min. 1–2 years)
- Very good knowledge of German or French (min. B2/C1)
- Good command of English
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Good knowledge of MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
