The role
We are looking for a senior professional to lead the development and management of a corporate banking branch in Italy. This role combines strategic business development with operational leadership and regulatory responsibility.
You will be instrumental in building the local franchise and driving long-term, sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities

Lead and develop the corporate banking team in Italy

Drive execution of the branch’s commercial and growth strategy

Acquire new clients and strengthen relationships with existing corporate customers

Oversee credit processes and contribute to lending decisions

Build and manage a high-quality loan portfolio aligned with growth targets

Analyze performance and implement actions to improve business outcomes

Ensure excellent client service standards

Manage operational costs and branch efficiency

Ensure compliance with Italian regulations and internal governance frameworks

Represent the organization in front of external stakeholders and institutions

Support implementation of risk management, compliance, and AML standards

Contribute to brand building and market positioning in Italy
Requirements

Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate banking

At least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably in international environments

Strong understanding of corporate banking products and credit processes

Proven track record in achieving business targets and driving growth

Experience in leading and developing teams

Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Fluency in Italian and English (required)
