The Product and Gen AI Testing and Assurance Team is a newly established, specialized unit within the Controls Office, operating as part of the 1st Line of Defence in Business Controls and Product Management. This team plays a key role in shaping and enhancing control frameworks for innovative products, including those leveraging Generative AI.
The Controls Office works closely with control owners to ensure that controls are not only well-designed but also effectively implemented in practice. By doing so, it serves as a vital partner in supporting the business to achieve its strategic objectives in a secure and controlled environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Performing testing of key controls related to product and Gen AI risks within the first line of defence
- Defining test scope, frequency, methodologies, and preparing test scripts and supporting documentation
- Analysing and interpreting test results, including assessing control effectiveness and identifying improvement areas across business units
- Identifying opportunities to automate control testing and supporting efficiency improvements in cooperation with business and risk teams
- Supporting the escalation and reporting of testing results to senior management and relevant governance forums
- Contributing to the continuous development of testing and assurance practices related to products and AI-enabled solutions
Our Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in non-financial risk management, preferably in controls and testing
- Good understanding of risk and control management practices and how they support business objectives
- Knowledge of financial products, business processes, or regulatory frameworks relevant to product risk
- Ability to identify underlying risk drivers, trends, and control improvement opportunities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Very good written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex topics in a clear way
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working across teams and organisational levels
- Relevant university degree or equivalent professional background
